AKRIMOTA THERMAL POWER PROJECT VILLAGE- NANI CHHER, TALUKA-LAKHPAT DISTRICT-BHUJ-KACHCH,GUJARAT a unit of GUJARAT MINERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED, Ahmedabad, Gujarat (A GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT ENTERPRISE), is the only one Power Project in India running with Lignite.

 

Since the induction i.e from May 2005 , of the Power Project, Swaminarayan Vijay Carry Trade Private Limited has been awarded the contract by GUJARAT MINERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED(A GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT ENTERPRISE),Ahmedabad,Gujarat of executing the work of excavation, loading, transportation of 15 Lac MT per annum of Lignite-5800 MT per day, excavation, loading and transportation of 7.5 Lac MT per annum of Limestone-2900 MT per day from AKRIMOTA/PANANDHRO/UMARSAR mines situated approximately 25 Km to 27 Km away from AKRIMOTA THERMAL POWER STATION site and on return path to AKRIMOTA/PANANDHRO/UMARSAR MINES, the Ash generated @15 Lac MT per annum in the Plant to be transported @5800 MT per day to fill Mine voids .

 

To execute the Contract we have mobilized our expert and dedicated team comprising of Operators, Maintenance staff and Supervisors to work round the clock.

 

As per tender terms and conditions we have had deployed the machinery for Excavation of Lignite and Limestone and Loading of same into the dumpers and transportation to Power station to meet the Plant requirements:-

 

1. Hydraulic Excavators with 1.7 M3 capacity- 03(Three)
2. Dumpers with 17 MT capacity(Pay load)- 67(Sixty Seven)

 

We have been provided accommodation for our employees at the premises of the Project and also space for executing Maintenance work, so that any contingency could be met with.

 

Although the contract was awarded to us initially for 24 Months(02 Years) only but it has been extended to us amicably on mutual agreement.
