Maintenance

For maintenance, the division has experienced manpower, who take care of the preventive as well as break down maintenance. The maintenance staffs are on standby 24 X 7. All the trucks are given preventive maintenance of tyre powder, lubricants refill and hub greasing while starting from and coming to Bhuj on their round trips. Except for critical failure- in which case, the failed component or the equipment as a whole is sent to a sub- contractors place all other maintenance is executed in house. For this, spares are stocked in optimum quantity. Bhuj is also the central purchase and stores division from where stocks are transferred to Mundra/ Sanghipuram. To increase the efficiency, the entire inventory management software is being implemented by M/ s ICICI Infotech Limited (www.icici-infotech.com) as part of our ERP project.
