Stevedoring

 

The Company has been working as a stevedore at M/ s Adani Port Limited, Mundra for 11 years now. The Company has handled all varieties of cargoes with aplomb with a reputation of un-/ loading vessels at a very fast rate regularly.

 

In fact, the Company holds the record of unloading a coal vessel at the rate of 33, 000 MT and loading a clinker vessel at the rate of 22, 000 MT each in just 24 hours span. The Company has loaded 5 clinker vessels with each day’s average loading rate of 20, 000 MT for each of these vessels. It has requisite gears in adequate numbers and experienced manpower working within a stabilized system to handle even complicated stevedoring jobs. The entire set up is geared up to satisfy customers’ requirement to their complete satisfaction. Earlier the Company handled a Steel Scrap vessel (first by the Company) of 26, 000 MT at Mundra (M/ s Adani Port Limited) with an average unloading rate of 8, 000+ MT in 24 hours.

 

The Company is the exclusive stevedore at the captive port of M/ s Sanghi Industries Limited (Cement Division), Sanghipuram, Abdasa (adjacent to the ancient Jakhau port) in the Kutch district of Gujarat, where it loads about 10 million MT of clinker unto vessels (balance 5 million MT is exported through Mundra Port by the Company) every year for export.
