The Company with a Mission
Swaminarayan Vijay Carry Trade Private Limited was established in the year 1995 based on the traditional Indian values of service to the community and is regarded as one of the well- run transportation and stevedoring companies headquartered in the district of Kutch, Gujarat, India. The Company has a unique history of 42 years - it was set up by the Late Shree - Mavji Devraj Gorasia (father of promoter directors Shri Govindbhai & Gopalbhai Patel)- of successful business in the field of trading of cement. Starting from scratch, the Company has become a giant now through backward integration of business. It has stood the taste of time- even during the devastating earthquake of 26th January of 2001- by growing steadily, offering vast, varied and versatile services with a personal touch. Today, its good customer service, pre- eminent track record in House Keeping, adherence to Prudential Accounting norms, consistent profitability and adoption of modern technology for betterment of customer service have earned the Company a place of pride in the community. The Company has been richly endowed with a relatively young, dynamic and efficient manpower, which is the key factor of the Company’s success, has ensured excellence in performance and uniqueness in customer service from the core of the Company’s organizational culture. The growing confidence of its clientele is well reflected in the Company’s performance in the critical areas of its operations all through the years.

The Team
At the helm of affairs are two young and dynamic brothers, Govind (43 Yrs) & Gopal (40 Yrs) Mavji Patel. As on 31st March 2004, the Company has a highly dedicated team of about 100 employees who have made the encouraging performance of the Company possible by extending exemplary service to its customers. The Company will continue its endeavors in the development of human capital so as to provide unmatched services to its clientele.

Technology For Customer Service
The Information Technology (IT) initiatives of the Company envisage continuous introduction of customer friendly delivery channels providing value added services. The Company has a well knit communication network with hi- tech infrastructure. The head quarters of the Company has a robust client server network. All the branches use computers extensively. The Company has provided IT training to all the concerned employees.

Ownership
The Company is a Private Limited Company, under the Companies Act 1956 with a authorized share capital of Rs. 100 million and paid up capital of Rs. 6.03 million wholly owned by the Promoter Directors Shri Govind M. Patel and Shri Gopal M. Patel.
