Since June 2004, the Adani Port Limited has been importing steel scrap (a most precious raw material for manufacture of steel) averaging about 30, 000 MT in a month. The scrap is transported from Jetty to the scrap yards. The Company also loads outside trucks for transporting the scrap to the western and northern part of the country.
